Expected events

Did an expected step fail to happen?

Your tools see what happened. Kohentra also sees what should have happened, and didn’t.

Example situation
What lands in your queue
What you are shown

A situation where an expected event is genuinely missing, with the reference that justified the expectation.

The reasoning, at a glance

  1. A regular series is observed in your history
  2. Next occurrence projected, with a tolerance
  3. Due date passed, nothing arrived
  4. The absence is qualified before it is flagged
  5. You decide

The problem

When nothing happens, Dolibarr says nothing. A monthly invoice that never goes out, a forgotten renewal, a follow-up never scheduled: there is literally nothing to see until someone notices by hand.

What Kohentra looks at

Regular series of events and their cadence, the usual lead times measured on your own history between two related facts, and the context of the object (a recurrence in progress, a completed cycle, an inaccessible resource).

What Kohentra does

Kohentra projects an expectation only when your data justifies it. The tolerance comes from how regular things have been: a very regular series is watched closely, a looser one with more slack. Basis too thin? It projects nothing, and says so.

Expertise involved

Recurring billing detection and expected business events. A new projection can first run in observation: it is compared with reality without opening a single case, until it has shown it gets things right in your business.

What you are shown

A situation where an expected event is genuinely missing, with the reference that justified the expectation.

What you decide

You decide whether the absence calls for action, or is a legitimate exception.

Why you can check it

The reference used is always shown. And an unmet expectation never claims that something did not happen, only that it is not recorded in the data Kohentra has.

Other questions Kohentra settles

Every situation comes with its evidence.
